The Plan
The project of cbPatriot.com is to build a nationwide network of organized groups such as tea parties whose volunteer leaders can act as “servers” communicating messages from one to another in the event of such an emergency.
In the event of an emergency, patriots could use their cb radios to organize local meeting destinations such as landmarks, fire halls, parks or even hotels. From there they can help local patriots to barter, trade, organize and provide assistance to one another. Like-minded friends and families will nominate local “captains” who can communicate on a separately designated channel to convey messages to other captains in neighboring cities all the way across their respective states and when enough groups are properly organized - to cities of neighboring states.
When you click on the JOIN The CB Patriot Project link, you will be taken to a form to fill out that will keep your personal identity private. All we need to organize is your email address with which to contact you, a "handle" by which you will be identified on your cb and your ZIP CODE.
We will use zip codes to help determine all of the areas in which the network has coverage.
The last OPTIONAL field will be filled out if you would like to volunteer as LEADER of a group in your area. If you are selected as a group leader, your email and handle will be emailed to all of the members in your zip code area so that in the event of an emergency, the members in your immediate area will know to contact you via CB radio or listen for your instructions on a designated channel at 9am, 1pm, 5pm or 9pm following any emergency - to plan for meeting destinations or appropriate strategies depending on the circumstances.
The LEADER will also be designated to correspond with neighboring groups to gather and share information to be passed along to the entire state and national network (if possible).
Leaders may be contacted by email with requests for generic information about their past experience in leadership roles in order to select the best qualified. If enough volunteers are available, each area would ideally have an "Assistant Manager" designated to help them organize. The CB Patriot project will aim to help facilitate that endeavor.
The FINAL STEP is for each member to acquire a CB Radio if they do not already own one. CB radios can be purchased in price ranges to fit any budget. Depending on the quality you desire and how elaborate you would like to get, you can purchase a CB for around $50.00 to $200.00 that will serve your purpose. CB Patriot.Com does not sell CB Radios but you can click on the link BUY a CB for some links to the stores with a large selection at the lowest prices.
